Therapeutic Massage Description: This is the most popular treatment, not very light or very deep; somewhere in between. Some stretching, and mild to moderate muscle manipulation on trouble areas. ** Please note this is a therapeutic touch technique, not integrated with any form of talk therapy. Licensed in massage therapy only, but happy to make the referral to a licensed mental health expert! It doesn't hurt to talk to someone, there is no shame; just ask if you think you need the extra support! I must work within my scope of practice, as a LMT. Swedish Massage Description: Gliding strokes, minimal muscle manipulation. Swedish massage is ideal for general relaxation, and for those who prefer a light touch technique. Deep Tissue Massage Description: Deep tissue is pretty much what it sounds like. A lot more pressure is applied with muscle manipulation. Deep tissue isn't for everyone, sometimes the release of tension can cause temporary discomfort or even mild DOMS. That's just the tension and stress leaving the body! Prenatal Massage Description: A relaxing experience for mama and her baby! Proper body positioning is implemented to alleviate ligament pain, low back pain, hip pain, and many other uncomfortable symptoms of pregnancy. A thoughtful individualized plan is carefully catered to each mother, and that includes her baby! A rewarding treat for an expected mother that relieves discomfort, tension, and stress. Happy mama, happy baby! *Available after the first trimester only! All massages have the option of scented oils for aromatherapy, and hot towels complementary to the desired service.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy for Townbank Tranquility Spa: At Townbank Tranquility Spa, we deeply value our clients and strive to provide exceptional service to each individual. To ensure that we can accommodate the needs of all our clients effectively, we have established the following cancellation policy: Single Service Cancellation: Clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for the cancellation of a single service, such as a standalone massage or facial appointment. Full Service (Massage and Facial) Cancellation: Clients booking a full-service package, which includes both a massage and facial appointment, are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations. Failure to Cancel: In the event that a client fails to cancel their appointment within the stipulated time frames mentioned above, they may be subject to a charge for the full or partial service. This charge compensates our spa for the time and resources allocated to the reservation, as well as the potential loss of business opportunities as we may have turned away other clients. Repeated Last-Minute Cancellations: We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise occasionally, and we strive to be understanding and accommodating. However, perpetual last-minute cancellations or a failure to provide adequate notice may significantly impact our ability to serve other clients who are in need of our services. Consequently, we reserve the right to terminate services at our spa for clients who repeatedly fail to adhere to our cancellation policy or terms. We kindly request all clients to respect this policy as it allows us to maintain a high level of service for everyone. By adhering to these guidelines, you not only help us optimize our appointment schedule but also ensure that other clients can benefit from our services.
